National Canadian Film Day is BACK! | April 29, 2015

RC-Mountie-button_newLogo_sizedToronto ON, April 2, 2015: Today, REEL CANADA announced that National Canadian Film Day, the one-day, coast-to-coast celebration of Canadian film, will return for a second year on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Presented with the generous support of Scotiabank, Cineplex Entertainment, and CBC, National Canadian Film Day (NCFD) is a day for all Canadians to celebrate Canada by watching a great Canadian film. In its inaugural year NCFD held over 70 public and private events across Canada and the day was officially acknowledged in The House of Commons.

ABOUT NATIONAL CANADIAN FILM DAY National Canadian Film Day (NCFD) is an initiative of REEL CANADA, an organization that has put on over 900 festivals of Canadian films for over 250,000 high school students and new Canadians across the country since 2005.
